2026 Studio Tours: September 26 & 27
Did you ever wonder how an artist actually works? One of the goals of ArtWorks is to connect artists and artisans with people interested in arts and culture. The Studio Tours are one way to create this opportunity. Artists will open their home studios to visitors and/or set up displays at other locations. It's your chance to see the newest creations and chat with artists about their work, see works in progress and perhaps even bring something home. Maps and information will be available at our downtown galleries and studios and will be added to this page as soon as possible.
There are many artists and galleries in the Saranac Lake area, and beyond, who welcome visitors anytime of year! Check out their individual pages on our website and finds the ones you would like to visit. Make an appointment directly or email [email protected] to inquire.

• Look for Studio Tour signs outside remote locations.

Our Galleries and Artists welcome visitors year round. Check their individual pages for contact info – a call to make an appointment is appreciated when visiting private studios. Sign up for our email announcements if you’d like to know in advance when the next Studio Tour will happen.
ArtWorks is partnering with the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce for these events. There is usually also an ArtWorks tent, featuring different artists, at the Saturday Farmers Markets in Riverside Park. Art is everywhere!
