The 2027 Adirondack Plein Air Festival

The 19th Adirondack Plein Air Festival returns August 16-21, 2027, inviting artists from across the country to paint the breathtaking landscapes of the Adirondack Mountains and welcoming the public to experience the creative process up close. Throughout the week, painters will be working outdoors in and around Saranac Lake, capturing lakes, forests, and village scenes in real time. Visitors are encouraged to explore the painting sites, meet the artists, and join us for the culminating Show & Sale, where freshly created works celebrate the beauty and spirit of the region.
